John Two-Hawks CPT

John was 18 when he began resistance training. He had just survived a decade of terrible abuse, which directly resulted in his being malnourished and very underweight. When he walked into that first gym 35 years ago and signed up for a membership, he weighed just 124 pounds (at 6' 3") and couldn't lift 30 lbs over his head. With the help of a friendly bodybuilder named Dan, John began his decades long journey of personal transformation and healing, building muscle, strength and confidence in the process.

He has come a very long way since that first day, and is now helping others to transform their lives through the amazing power of resistance training with his signature 'Think & Grow Strong' approach. As well as being a Grammy nominated recording artist, John Two-Hawks is an AFPA Certified Personal Trainer, and the owner of 'Lifting for Healing', a personal training and coaching business focused on helping people realize their dreams for a life of wellness, strength and vitality.
